Bakersfield, Calif. - Nationally-ranked Cal State Northridge completed play on Sunday afternoon at the Roadrunner Invitational with two victories.

In the first game of the day, Sydney Sonoda scored a career-high five goals to lead #13 Cal State Northridge to a 12-7 victory over #12 Hartwick in a non-league game.

Sonoda scored four of CSUN's five goals in the second period to give the Matadors a 6-5 halftime lead.

The Matadors dominated play in the second half outscoring Hartwick 6-2 in the final two periods.

Whitney Delgado scored three times. Renee Gargiulo added a pair of goals.

Jillian Stapf added 12 saves in goal.

Later Sunday afternoon, Delgado added three goals to lead the Matadors to a 6-3 verdict over Cal State Bakersfield. Gargiulo added two goals to give the Matadors a 9-2 season record.

Cal State Northridge trailed 2-1 at halftime, but outscored the Roadrunners, 5-1, in the second half.
