Brittany Williams appeared in 29 matches and 100 games as a true freshman in 2007 ... started 14 matches at outside hitter ... led the Matadors with 276 kills and also posted a team-high 2.76 kills per game average ... wound up hitting .197 for the season after committing 111 errors in 837 swings ... was among seven players named to the Big West All-Freshman Team ... also contributed 60 blocks, 39 digs and 18 assists to the Matador cause ... knocked down a Northridge season-high 24 kills in a five-set win vs. Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 2) ... also took a career-high 70 swings and had five blocks in the win ... had double figure kill totals in 13 of 29 matches ... pounded 17 kills against both No. 24 Cal Poly and UC Davis (Nov. 10) ... posted a career-high seven total blocks against Pacific (Nov. 9).

Williams earned two varsity letters at Ruben S. Ayala High School in Chino Hills, Calif. ... was a two-time Sierra League Most Valuable Player (2005 and 2006) and a First Team All-CIF Div.
