NORTHRIDGE - 2007
Siara Grayson was granted a medical hardship season after injuring her shoulder during the early part of the season ... will be a sophomore entering the 2008 season ... appeared in seven matches posting 27 kills and a .146 hitting percentage ... also added four aces, five digs and six blocks in her abbreviated season.
2006
Grayson appeared in 23 matches and 79 games as a true freshman ... earned 20 starts at outside hitter ... finished fourth on the Matadors with 225 kills but tied for second on the team averaging 2.85 kills per game ... also contributed 56 digs (0.71 dpg) and 24 blocks (0.30 bpg) ... pounded a season-high 18 kills in Northridge's 3-1 win at UC Riverside (Oct. 14) and added 17 kills on three other occasions ... notched double figures in kills 11 times during the season ... hit a season-high .467 against Xavier (Sept. 8) ... had 17 kills with a season-high two aces and eight digs in the Matadors' five-game win over Hofstra (Aug. 26) ... was named to the All-Tournament Team at Northridge's Fremont Investment & Loan Invitational (Sept. 1-2).
JUAN DIEGO CATHOLIC HS
Earned varsity letters in both volleyball and track & field at Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, Utah ... was a four-year starter for the Soaring Eagles and was named team captain for the 2003 and 2005 seasons ... earned Second Team All-State honors in 2004 for the team that finished 14-1 and were region champions ... was a two-time team MVP in 2004 and 2005 ... finished third in the state in the javelin and was fourth in the high jump, long jump and javelin ... graduated in 2006 with a 3.96 grade point average.

Born November 5, 1987 in Reno, Nev. ... parents are Teri and Scott Grayson ... has one older brother, Tim ... her father played football for the University of Utah ... also competes for the High Country volleyball club team, which finished 11th in the Nationals in 2005 ... favorites include "The Family Guy", sushi and the band Fall Out Boy ... chose Northridge because "It was somewhat close to home and in a warm state" ... says Martin Luther King Jr. is the one person in history she would like to meet ... couldn't imagine going a week without coffee ... major is Civil Engineering.
