Lilyana Morejon capped a remarkable CSUN career with her second straight trip to the NCAA West Prelims ... finished 27th in the 10,000 meter semifinals in a season-best time of 34:48.61 ... finished second for the second year in a row in the 10,000 meters at the Big West Championships after running 35:09.51 ... also finished sixth in the 5,000 meters in a season-best 17:03.09 ... also clocked a personal-best in the 3,000 meters running 9:55.27 at the Northridge Invitational ... posted a season-best 4:46.67 in the 1,500 meters at the USC Quad Meet ... placed ninth in the 5,000 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships in a career-best 16:44.11 ... her time is a Northridge indoor record ... earned MPSF All-Academic honors for the third straight season ... led the women's cross country team in the fall with a sixth-place finish (20:41.5) at the Big West Championships ... advanced the the NCAA West Regional where she finished 61st in 21:23.56 ... was CSUN's top finisher in all five meets she competed in.

Was the Big West 10,000 meter champion in 2009 after running a then lifetime-best 35:00.32 to win by over one minute in the final at UC Irvine ... helped the Matador women to their fourth-straight conference championship ... also ran Northridge season-bests in the 1,500 meters (4:50.63), 3,000 meters (10:15.49) and 5,000 meters (17:00.03) ... all three times were career-bests ... her 10,00 meter time ranks fourth in Matador history while her time in the 5,000 ranks eighth ... qualified for the 5,000 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships where she placed 13th in a season-best 17:06.47 ... her time is a Northridge indoor record ... also ran 9:57.63 in the 3,000 meters at the Husky Classic (Feb. 14) which is also a Matador indoor record ... earned All-Academic honors from both the MPSF and Big West Conference.

Was the Matadors' best distance runner as a freshman ... finished fifth in the 10,000 meters and 11th in the 5,000 meters at the Big West Outdoor Championships ... ran a lifetime-best 37:24.16 in the 10,000 and ran 18:13.00 at the conference championships ... posted a season-best of 17:55.77 in the 5,000 at the Mt. SAC Relays ... also ran a Northridge-best 10:20.18 in the 3,000 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine ... did not compete during the indoor season.

Earned letters in track, cross country and basketball at John Burroughs High School in Burbank, Calif. ... earned second team All-Pacific League honors in cross country in 2006 and was a CIF qualifier in track in 2004, 2005 and 2006 ... graduated in 2007 with a 3.8 grade point average.
