Matadors Sit in Fifth Place After One Round in Colorado
BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Senior Beth Allen shot an opening-round 73 and is tied for fifth place while the Cal State Northridge women's golf team carded a team round of 303 and is in fifth at the CU Heather Farr Memorial Invitational.
Allen, who is tied with two others at +1, 73, trails tournament leader Emily Hoeper by three shots. Three others are bunched at even-par 72 after the first round.
Emma Wahlgren is currently tied for 18th at +4, 76, Courtney Renfro is tied for 26th at +5, 77, Kathy Pareja is tied for 38th at +7, 79 and Adrienne Cipparone is tied for 80th at +14, 286.
The final round is scheduled to be played Tuesday.
