Kylie Kimura had a solid season in her first year competing for the Matadors ... led Northridge with a 77.2 scoring average which ranks fourth in school history for a single season ... was the lone Matador to compete in all 11 tournaments while playing a team-high 29 rounds ... took a total of 2,240 strokes over 29 rounds of play ... had CSUN's top two individual finishes of the season after winning the Firestone Grill Invitational (Oct. 4-5) and finishing second at the Lamkin Grip Invitational (Nov. 1-2) ... also had three top-20 finishes after finishing 13th at the Anteater Invitational (Mar. 28-29), 18th at the Price's "Give `Em Five" Invitational (Oct. 11-13) and 18th at the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational (Sept. 13-14) ... low tournament score was (+8) 221 when she posted the Matadors' lone win of the season at the Firestone Grill Invitational ... her score helped Northridge to its only team win of the season ... also carded a three-round (+6) 222 at the Price's "Give `Em Five" Invitational which was CSUN's second lowest round of the season ... low 18-hole score was 72 on three different occasions ... After an opening round 84, fired rounds of 77-74 to finish 25th at (+19) 235 at the Big West Championship.

Kimura was forced to sit-out the 2009-10 season due to NCAA rules after transferring from Long Beach State.

Competed in six tournaments and 16 rounds as a freshman at Long Beach State ... best finish was a 63rd-place finish at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Sammamish, Wash. where she carded a three-round 240 ... redshirted as a sophomore and will have two years left to compete following the 2009-10 season.

Played two seasons of golf at Charter Oak High School in Covina, Calif. ... earned First Team All-Miramonte League honors as a junior in 2005-06 and as a senior in 2006-07 ... played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, Calif. ... finished second in the state as a team and tied for fifth individually in 2004-05 ... the Aztecs' golf team also finished third in 2003-04 ... graduated from Charter Oak in 2007.
