A former four-time letterwinner for Cal State Northridge volleyball, Greg Harasymowysz begins his sixth season on the Matador bench in 2008. He is in his second season as an assistant coach after spending four seasons as a volunteer assistant coach (2003-06).
During his playing career, Harasymowysz played for John Price for one season (1997) and Jeff Campbell for three seasons (1998-2000). Harasymowysz, an outside hitter, played in 114 games in his Matador career and had 75 kills in 172 career attacks. He had 42 kills as a senior in 2000 and appeard in 26 matches and 95 games.
A native of Statford, N.J., Harasymowysz was a four-year letterman at Sweet Home High School in Buffalo, N.Y. In 1993, he led Sweet Home to the league championship and finished runner-up in the state finals. He eventually transferred to Williamsville North High School where he graduated in 1995.
Greg is single and resides in Northridge.
