Guppy Adds Academic All-Conference to Resume
Irvine, Calif. -- Junior goalkeeper Kevin Guppy was named to the 2007 Academic All-Big West team, it was announced Friday. It was the second such honor for Guppy, who also claimed second-team all-conference honors for his efforts on the field.
Guppy, a team captain, was the sole honoree for the men's soccer team.
The Sociology major from Chino Hills joined ten other Matadors across all five fall sports on the conference honor roll.
Guppy plans to pursue a career in professional soccer but also has an interest in firefighting. |
