Matador Baseball Welcomes Back All Former Players For Alumni Event
 
Alumni Barbeque To Take Place on January 31, 2009 at Matador Field

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Matador Field will be the home of Matador Baseball's latest alumni event as all former players and their family members are invited to take part in an alumni barbeque and social event.

The festivities will take place at Matador Field, and are scheduled to commence at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31st, 2009.

All food and beverages will be free compliments of Matador Baseball, and all visitors are requested to arrive in picnic attire as there will be an opportunity to meet the 2009 Matador baseball team, and compete in a home run derby contest (distances vary depending on what decade you played in).

All bats will be provided for use compliments of Anderson Bat Company.

Players who are interested in attending can send their RSVP, or obtain additional information about the event by contacting Tom Hutchison, Director of Baseball Operations at thomas.hutchison@csun.edu before January 1, 2009.
