Simis was a three-year letterwinner in baseball for coach Bob Parry and the Titans, and was named captain all three seasons ... batted .350 and had a fielding percentage of .990 during his high school career ... was a member of the 2006 and 2008 CIF State and Palomar League championship teams ... was named MVP for his success during the 2008 season.
