Joshua Goossen-Brown played one season for the Monarchs, racking up an array of awards ... along with winning the Western State Conference Southern Division Championship, Goossen-Brown was named the Division Player of the Year and team MVP ... named as a Southern California All-American and was named First Team All-Western State Conference, ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Second Team All-American, Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association All-Star and earned a Western State Conference Gold Glove.


Goossen-Brown played soccer, football and baseball for the Black Knights of the Mission League, winning the CIF championship in baseball in 2008 and capturing the league title in 2009 ... in 2009, he was named First Team All-CIF, earning league and team MVP awards after recording 10 wins ... along with being named to the First Team All-Mission League, he was named to the Second Team All-State, First Team LA Daily News and All-Tournament Team of the Anderson Bat National Classic ... Goossen-Brown graduated in 2009 cum laude with a 3.5 GPA.
