 The Matadome

Home of CSUN Men's/Women's Basketball - Men's/Women's Volleyball

The Matadome is the indoor home for the CSUN men's and women's basketball teams as well as the Matador men's and women's volleyball teams. The 49-year-old facility has undergone major reconstruction in recent years, receiving a new floor in 1996, a state-of-the-art scoreboard above center court in 1997, chair-backed bleachers in 1998 and a redesigned court in 2001. Home of CSUN Baseball

Matador Field, located on Lindley Avenue between Halsted and Lassen Streets, is the home for all Cal State Northridge baseball home games. With a current capacity of more than 1,000 fans, and dimensions of 325 feet down the left and right field lines, 375 feet to the power alleys and 400 feet to straightaway center field, Matador Field has been a staple of the campus since the first game played in 1961. Home of CSUN Men's & Women's Soccer

Matador Soccer Field is the home venue for the Cal State Northridge men's and women's soccer teams. The venue began operation at the start of the 2002 season when the men's team defeated visiting Fresno State, 2-0, in the site's first match on Sept. 15, 2002. Night time soccer returned to CSUN when the women's program hosted nationally-ranked Portland on August 22, 2010. The field's capacity is 1,550 with bleachers lining the east side. (MORE)

Home of CSUN Softball

Matador Diamond, with a seating capacity of 1,000, is the site of all home Cal State Northridge softball games in 2010. Cal State Northridge's Matador Diamond has been the site of three NCAA Division I Softball Regionals. In 1993, the Matadors hosted the No. 2 Regional, followed by the No. 3 Regional in 1994 and the No. 4 Regional in 1995. (MORE)

Home of CSUN Women's Tennis

The Northridge Tennis Complex dates back more than 32 years and currently has 24 courts, 12 of which are equipped with lights. The entire complex's hard-court surface was resurfaced in the summer of 2000 with a combination of sand and graphite. (MORE)

Matador Track & Field Complex
Home of CSUN Men's/Women's Outdoor Track & Field

The Northridge Track & Field Complex is one of the finest training and competition venues in the state of California. The track & field facility has most recently hosted the 2010 Big West Conference Outdoor Championships and in 2008 hosted both the Big West Championships as well as the NCAA Western Regional Championships. The facility, which has hosted a conference championship seven times in its history, also hosted the 2004 NCAA Western Regional. (MORE)

Home of CSUN Women's Water Polo

Matador Pool is the home of the nationally-ranked Cal State Northridge women's water polo team. The first women's water polo home game took place on March 8, 2002 against UCLA. The first home victory took place on March 28 with a 10-4 decision over Cal State Hayward. (MORE)
